During our October Monthly Meeting, members decided to assist our neighbors in the NC Mountains devastated by Hurricane Helene. As you know the need is great and ongoing, therefore we decided we would do three special collections that would support three different organizations (Wine to Water, Samaritans Purse and The Red Cross). The Sunday before Thanksgiving, we will take up a special collection and donate the proceeds to Wine To Water. Wine to Water: Bringing Clean Water to Communities in Need | Volunteer & Support Opportunities. https://www.wtw.org/ Additional collections will be scheduled for 2025. As the body of Christ we have a responsibility to care for those in need. This effort should be a giving opportunity over and above your normal donations to the Meeting. Galatians 6:2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
