Beginning July 1, 2023, Phillip Raines will become the new Pastor at Deep River Friends Meeting. After an exhaustive search and vetting process Phillip emerged as the most qualified applicant. Phillip’s background as a Quaker Pastor and most recently as a chaplain at Novant Health gives him the knowledge, expertise and temperament to lead Deep River Friends forward – energizing our current members and attenders while reaching out to the larger community in and around the Deep River area. Phillip will deliver his first message Sunday, July 2nd at 11 am. You are cordially invited to join us at Deep River Friends to welcome Pastor Phillip Raines!
