Phillip Raines has accepted the call to become the next pastor at Deep River Friends Meeting. He will officially begin July 1st.

The annual meeting of the Deep River Friends Memorial Association will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at the rise of worship.

All are invited to a Meet and Greet for Philip Raines, pastoral candidate, during the 11:00 Worship Hour on Sunday, April 30.

Quaker Women’s Friends Favorites For Mother’s Day has begun accepting baked goods submissions! The proceeds will be going to support QW missions and outreach and be a dual benefit for our friends Sloan Dodson and Jordan Glasscoe.

Who is “eggs”cited for the annual children’s egg hunt? On Sunday, April 2 immediately following Meeting for Worship, Christian Education Committee is hosting a lunch and egg hunt for everyone in the Meeting to enjoy!

On April 5th at 7:00pm we will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall to review and discuss the minute and discern what our feedback to the NCFF working group should be.

Please make time to stop by the Meeting Office or arrange a time with Ruth to learn the basics of handling your Zoom meetings, e.g., Log-in, Waiting Room, Scheduling and Security.

Monthly Meeting for Business will be held this coming Thursday, March 9th. Please feel free to attend and become a part of the Quaker process.
