There will be a reception for staff appreciation next Sunday, December 4th . We will celebrate with refreshments at the 10:00 hour.

Due to limited help, we are only taking orders for 100 pies total. Maximum 2 per household.

The dates for this year’s poinsettia sale are November 1 through the 30th.

The Community Thanksgiving Service will be held at Turners Chapel AME Church on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022.

We are excited to begin to get back to normal, and one activity that was noticeably absent was our carry-in meals. So, next Sunday for Founders Day, we will have a carry-in luncheon after Meeting for Worship.

Our guest speaker for for Founders Day in our 268th year is Dr. Robert Shackleford, retired President of RCC.

Join us for a “Soup”-er Spookier Fall Festival Trunk-or-Treat! Trunk decorating will start at 4:30 pm.

The Crop Walk is on September 25th. If you would like to participate, please contact Susie @ 336-688-5050. We are accepting donations now.

Deep River Friends Yard Sale – Community Yard Sale to feed the hungry will be Sunday, Oct. 8 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The Celebration of Life for Bruce Idol will be tomorrow, Saturday, September 17th, at 1PM. After the service, there will be a reception in the Fellowship Hall where the family will receive friends.
