Digging Deeper” Book Study
Our Sunday evening “Digging Deeper” Book Study (5p.m.) will start up again on Sunday, March 17th.
Alternatives to Violence Workshop
The North Carolina Peace Resource Center in partnership with the NC Alternative to Violence Project will be offering a Basic AVP Workshop) the weekend of April 5-7 at Jamestown Friends Meeting.
New Small Group
“Knit, Purl, and Prayer” – Kat Smith is organizing a new small group around praying, fellowshipping, connecting with one another, and knitting / crocheting.

On Sunday, March 10th, we’ll start a new book and we’ll be reading “Testament of Devotion” by the Quaker author Thomas Kelly.
Basket shower for Meredith Shaw
For the next couple of Sundays, there will be a basket on the front pew for a “Basket Baby Shower” for Meredith Shaw.
Leslie’s House
On the second Tuesday of each month, Deep River Friends provides the dinner for the women’s homeless shelter in High Point.
Spring BBQ
The Spring BBQ is coming up and will be on Saturday, March 9th.
Celebration of Life / David Jordan
A Celebration for David Jordan will be this Tuesday at Deep River Friends Meeting.
Pizza and a Movie
The youth ( both groups) will have a pizza and movie afternoon on February 24th at 3 p.m.
